Facilities in the village include:

• - Our Co-op opens 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm.  The only day it closes is on Xmas day!  It stocks most foodie items you’ll need during your stay in Tideswell so those staying in self-catering accommodation shouldn’t feel the need to bring the entire contents of their kitchen cupboards with them.
• - Seven food-serving pubs – The Horse and Jockey, The Star, The George, The Anchor, The Red Lion, The Anglers Rest and The Queen Anne.
• - A fantastic bakery and butchers (both open Monday to Friday, and mornings on Saturday).
• - The Peak District Dairy shop which as well as housing a cosy cafe, they sell a great range of cheeses, dairy produce and other local produce (open seven days a week)
• - Home made goodies and fantastic coffee at the cafe Vanilla Kitchen
• - A greengrocers which is open seven days (mornings only at the weekend) (but the Co-op also sells veggies if you’re caught short on a Sunday!)
• - A chemist 
• - A newspaper shop cum general store cum post office (open seven days a week) in both Tideswell and Litton (which is a community-run shop
• - An gift gallery (open 6 days a week – winter opening hours vary)
• - A Sandwich shop (weekdays only)
• - Seven Pubs all serving food within Tideswell & District – check for food serving times
• - A rock shop (stones and fossils – rather than sweets)
• - A piano showroom and shop
• - A bank (Open Tuesday and Friday but seven day cashpoint machine) 
• - A florist.
